Chief Administrative Director and Managing Paralegal
Carrie Stoner-Sharp brings more than four decades of legal, administrative, and community-service experience to her role as Chief Administrative Director and Managing Paralegal at the Law Offices of John Phebus, PLC. Her legal career began in 1982 at the prestigious firm O’Connor, Cavanagh, Anderson, Killingsworth & Beshears (now known as The Cavanagh Law Firm) where she developed a strong foundation in litigation support and legal operations. In 1993, she joined Jones, Skelton & Hochuli, one of Arizona’s leading civil defense firms, and continued to deepen her expertise until 1997.
With a passion for understanding people and a desire to expand her professional scope, Carrie returned to higher education, studying Psychology and Sociocultural Anthropology at Arizona State University and later at Argosy University. Her commitment to helping others led her to work as a crisis counselor for at-risk children in the City of Glendale through Westside Social Services, a division of Prehab of Arizona. During this time, she also maintained an active career as a contract paralegal, balancing both legal work and community service.
In 2025, Carrie joined the Law Offices of John Phebus, PLC, where she now oversees firm administration, workflow management, and paralegal operations. Her extensive experience, leadership skills, and deep understanding of both legal processes and human behavior make her an invaluable asset to the firm and its clients.
Outside of her professional life, Carrie has dedicated countless hours to coaching youth sports, including softball, soccer, and cheerleading. She remains active in her church and volunteers her time with the American Red Cross, domestic violence shelters, and multiple food banks across Arizona. Above all, Carrie cherishes time spent with her five children and six grandchildren, who remain the heart of her life and inspiration.
